Pairing Retro earnings with the original element as one line in total compensation statements

Summary:

When setting up total compensation statements we have a number of elements that are often 'late' and thus tied to the retro payroll element. I would like to show these in the statement as a single 'item' not a sub category.

Content (required):

Most of these issues are tied to late approvals from time and absence. Example overtime, a late time card approval results in some overtime being passed to pay on the overtime retro element in payroll. I have currently configured using sub categories (overtime category contains the overtime and retro overtime pay elements). Since we are already using some sub categories were the user would drill into the details we would expect the user to potentially drill into all sub categories. We do not want the total compensation statement to be a place that highlights 'process issues'

Howdy, Stranger!
