Does GL in Fusion ERP support the use of substitution variables to reference from Financial Reports?

Substitute Variables are tied to the Data Sources. We would like to use substitution variables in ERPCS for our Financial Reports with Fusion ERP as a data source

Our Organization uses Management Reporting for developing Financial Reports. Our cubes reside in different applications (OAC Essbase, Fusion GL and Planning). In Essbase, we have the ability to create and use substitute variable that we can later reference when we create our Financial reports using Management Reporting in EPRCS. Is there a way we could use substitution variables but for Fusion ERP GL?
