How to changing Retained Earning Accounts during configurations?

Hi,

We are configuring the production instance of our client. We completed the GL configuration and after that client requested to update the retained earnings account as they have provided an incorrect account. No transactions have entered in the system yet.

When we tried to change the retained earnings account it says "This combination cannot be used; it either does not exist, or using it here is not permitted."

Please advice how to change this.
