Integration with ERP?
Summary: Hello, I'm still trying to learn about Channel Revenue Management, as my current client is moving from EBS to the Cloud for Channel Revenue Management, ERP (FINS), and also EPM. From what I've heard from my client who is currently on the EBS version, they have a separate instance of their ERP system with separate AR, customers, etc. Basically, they maintain their EBS ERP system with AR there, and they have a different AR connected to the EBS Channel Revenue Management solution.
In the Cloud, is this the same? Does Channel Revenue Management stand on its own with its own AR piece OR does it integrate with the ERP solution and use the ERP AR (and AP)? If it is a standalone solution, does it just integrate with the Cloud GL and send entries that way?
