OTBI report logic to fetch Employees who were in current position as of 1st June,2019

Summary: We have a requirement to create an OTBI report which will fetch all Employees who were in current position as of 6/1/2019.

I was looking at the subject area - 'Workforce management- Worker assignment event real time' to fetch the data. But not quite sure about the logic to be used to meet our requirement.

Please suggest if i am looking at the correct subject area and what logic to be used for fetching employees who were in current position as of 6/1/2019.
