Insufficient privileges - Compensation (personal contributions) delegation

edited Nov 22, 2021 12:51PM in Compensation 2 comments

Summary:

Compensation delegation - insufficient privileges on line manager role

Content (required):

We have noticed that when a Compensation delegation rule is set up on a line manager account, when a member of the source managers team submits a Compensation related transaction e.g. personal contribution (overtime) a warning message appears within the approval notification for the delegate (new approval manager) stating that they do not have the sufficient privileges to access the information. Therefore, they are unable to see the transaction detail e.g. overtime hours worked, date overtime was worked etc.

Given that when an employee submits a transaction, their direct line manager, with no delegation can see this information, its apparent that this issue is being caused by a security policy/lack of privileges on the line manager role which prevents delegates from viewing Compensation information outwith their security policy parameters.

Howdy, Stranger!
