Salary changes for a zero increase

Hi Expert,

We have several employees who have had position changes, or manager changes this month however the system is also entering a salary change for them - but the salary screen is showing a zero increase.

When we have run the report on salary changes these are appearing on the report but they have had no increase. If no change is made to salary when changing as an assignment I'm not sure that a change should go into their salary history.

Please advise if anyone has faced this issue before.
