Client is using position hierarchy for PR approvals and Requisition approvals not working with Delegation/Reassign vacation rule enabled with Position Hierarchy.


Content (required):

Original PR Approver: ABC (Original approver created vacation rule and delegate the task to 'XYZ' in the BPM worklist)

New Approver during the vacation period of original approver: XYZ

However, the new approver didn't include in the approval chain built by the system and didn't receive a PR approval notification in both the worklist and email

Logged an Oracle SR# 3-27771177561 and we got the below update:

"Please note that Delegate approvals will not work in case of Position hierarchy or Application role based or Approval group. Position is an User and can be assigned any user hence workflow task can't assign position"
