New Custom Role in Fission, do I need to create an equivalent usertype?

Summary:

A New Custom Role in Fusion was created. Is there a need to create equivalent user type in taleo?

example:

Old security role: Per_Employee_Abstract_Custom . This old role was maintained. But a new role was created which is : New Role: CONS_Employee_Custom

Does it mean in Taleo In user type, I should create a new one to map the CONS_Employee_Custom?
