Prorate shift allowance in payroll based on absence duration.

Summary:

Need guidance on how to prorate shift allowance in payroll based on absence duration.

Content (required):

Hello EveryoneThere is a requirement to sum up the absences taken by an employee in a month and prorate the Shift allowance based on the total absence duration. As an example :

Shift allowance/month - $900

Absence start and end date:- 01-Nov-2021 - 03-Nov-2021 and 20-Nov-2021 - 21-Nov-2021

Total Absence Duration - 5 days

Shift allowance paid for Nov'21 = 900 - 150(5 days allowance) = 750I am able to achieve it using a table value set if there is a single absence record in a month , but it does not work wherever there are multiple absence records.Any guidance or FF sample will be greatly appreciated.

Howdy, Stranger!
