Content (required): Oracle Commerce Release 21D Revision 8
introduces improvements to access control for registered applications. The attached article explains the changes and the new functionality, including a set of "endpoint privileges" and two additional privileges that have been introduced for backward compatibility purposes.
With the changes we are introducing, you can:
- Use APIs to view and manage the set of roles that a registered application has.
- Restrict a registered application to accessing only specific endpoints (for a selected set of endpoints) .
In addition, registered applications that are predefined and provided by Oracle are now protected; you cannot update or delete them.
