Hi All,

Greetings!

Global Transfer process includes the change of legal entity and also handles the payroll balance transfer from old to new legal entity.

But if there is global transfer during first pay period of new year before the payroll for that period is processed - then there are no balances for new year and no values get transferred to new legal entity in such a case.

e.g.

if the new pay period for 2022 is from 19-Dec-2021 to 01-Jan-2022 and if payroll run is on 04-Jan-2022 and if Global transfer is processed any day between 19th Dec to 1st Jan, there are no balances transferred as there are no balances itself as there is no payroll run yet for new year.
