Allocation Amount (Operating Expenses - Revenue) in PCMCS Allocations

Hi All,

We have a need to reference the account (Which should be the result of Expenses – Revenue instead of Net Operating Income (Revenue - Expenses)) as the source in the allocation.

We created a parent account (Data Storage: we tried both Never Share/Stored options, Hierarchy Type: Dynamic, consolidation: addition)

·      Operating Expenses ( shared member and consolidation: addition)

·      Revenue( shared member and consolidation: subtraction) as children.

When we used this account in the source of the allocation, even though the offset account is different(level0 account) we are getting the error “Cannot Perform Allocation. Essbase Error(1300049): The argument [Offset] cannot contain dynamic members, for example [ ]”
