Element Balance in TCS

Summary:

We are trying to pull element balance value in TCS, Question i've is when we generate TCS for the given dates, does it display values as on given dates?

Example: payroll process date is after 12/31/2021, like 1/3/2022, does the balance will have values as on 12/31/2021?

do we need to write a fast formula to get that dated values or TCS will pull the actual values from payroll element balance as TCS dates? can anyone please help me to understand
