How to terminate an employee on a past date after successful payroll processed with new payroll name

Summary:

our client has moved from bi-weekly payroll to Semi-monthly for a set of employees. For these employees, the bi-weekly payroll has been ended as on 12/31/2021 and SM payroll started from 1/1/2022. As per the payroll schedule, 1/1 - 1/15 period has been processed and flown to the downstream.

HR had come back and request to terminate couple of employees as of 12/30 due to the late notification. Currently, the system is not allowing to do so and showing the error message saying " Payroll process results exist for the person as of 1/14/2022. The process run for the person must be rolled back before you can complete the action."

Howdy, Stranger!
