HDL Transformation Formula - Fixed Length File with more thaan 500 characters

Hi, We are using HDL Transformation to load the inbound fixed length file which has more than 500 characters. But Generate Data from file fails to handle this. Its working if the length is less than 200 characters.
Is there any restriction on the fixed length file (255 chars) ? If yes how to handle this in HDL Transformation Formula ?
