Summary:

We have come across some issues where the Move to HR duplicate check is not appearing to show ALL duplicates within the system for a given person.

The check searches ALL HR records for DOB and SSN, this will include contact (dependent/beneficiary) records as well. However, if a person is a contact (dependent/beneficiary) as well as an ex-employee and has applied with a different email (was not merged prior to Offer phase), when the Move to HR action is performed it catches as a duplicate (as it should). The system ONLY shows the contact (dependent/beneficiary) record and NOT the ex-employee record that is needing to be merged. This is causing duplicate records to be created and a huge headache for HR to get the duplicate removed and
