Sending BACS Payment File via SFTP in the UK

Hi,

A customer I support (who are o 21D (11.13.21.10.0)) are investigating options to send their AP Payment Files via Secure FTP so that they are sent seamlessly from Oracle without any manual intervention from the user.

I spoke to someone at their bank (Natwest) who said that the bank don't actually deal with the BACS payments, they go through something called Vocalink.

The person from Natwest is checking what other customers do, but in the meantime I thought I'd ask here to see if others are able to send BACS payment files via SFTP.

I wondered if anyone else has Oracle set up in such a way that the AP BACS Payment files are sent via Secure FTP to... somewhere? Maybe they don't get sent to the bank - but if so, how would we know the connection details to send the files to?
