Daily Overtime Calculation with Multiple Pay Elements

Summary:

Ability to capture time using multiple regular pay elements and calculate just the daily OT and not modify the regular pay elements.

Content (required):

We have pay codes example: Reg1, Reg2 which employees can select on the timecard. When employees exceed 8 hours, the hours above 8 should create and additional entry of Overtime. Reg1 and Reg2 hours should remain as in and no changes are to be made to those entries.

Example: Reg1 : 5 Hours, Reg2: 5 Hours

After Calculation the expectation is: Reg1: 5 Hours, Reg2: 5 Hours and Overtime: 2 Hours

We tried using rule template: "Daily Threshold AP Template". This template has 2 output groups one for over and one for under. We are not sure what should go in the Output group 1 as we have 2 elements (Reg1 and Reg2).

Howdy, Stranger!
