Updating Start Dates - Taleo and PeopleSoft, or other HCM
I am curious to know how other companies handle candidate start date changes.
We use PeopleSoft as our HCM. Our current process is that the Recruiter is required to update the start date in Taleo if it changes up until the candidate is hired in PeopleSoft (we have a feed that will pull the most recent date in). If the start date changes after they are Hired, the recruiter sends a notice and HRIS updates manually in PeopleSoft. The recruiter does not update it in Taleo at this point, as it's extra work. Note: We allow candidates to be hired into PeopleSoft before they start.
