Help needed to customize payslip XML

in Payroll and Global Payroll Interface (GPI) 5 comments 
Payslip XML to ADP does not contain tag GLB_PAY_ARCH_PR_HOURS_X_RATE with value when person has Retro Absence Entry. 
Expect to see the following three tags for this person with Retro Absence entry
       GLB_PAY_ARCH_PR_UNITS_X_RATE
       GLB_PAY_ARCH_PR_ABSENCES
       GLB_PAY_ARCH_PR_HOURS_X_RATE
But xml does not contain GLB_PAY_ARCH_PR_HOURS_X_RATE.

Received response from SR team that GLB_PAY_ARCH_PR_HOURS_X_RATE record populate only Standard Earnings elements in XML, it does not support Vacation Retro.
Customer can customise the Payslip XML to transform GLB_PAY_ARCH_PR_UNITS_X_RATE tag to GLB_PAY_ARCH_PR_HOURS_X_RATE tag by following Doc ID 2225761.1

I dont know how to customize XML file. Any help?
