How to leverage REST to view Purchase Orders associated to Requisitions in statuses other than Open and beyond

There is one 'somewhat contentious' idea found in the Ideas Lab thusly:

.

The primary ask appears to be the ability to show Purchase Order number and status details in the Manage Requisitions UI where the Purchase Order is not yet Open (before it is approved and open for transacting). The 'somewhat contentious' aspect is whether this is really a useful requirement for end users because the Purchase Order is relatively dynamic and can even be deleted until it is approved and beyond drastic changes. That being the case, is there any specific benefit to be gained by exposing the status and order details when it is still in 'Draft' mode.

Howdy, Stranger!
