Remove Memo Lines from Setups

Summary: We have over 1500 memo lines for one of our BUs. We would like to remove them or hide them.

For one of our BUs we have over 1500 memo lines and over 400 for another. Is it possible to hide or delete memo lines from the setup screen. We realize we can end date them so they are no longer available for invoicing, but due to the large numbers of lines they are a problem in the setup screens.
