Reports and Analytics- Folder Security changes after 22a?

We are noticing changes in security access to BI Publisher reports in our Custom Reports and Analytics Folders and Sub Folders.

Example 1:

Employees with only the Employee Security Role can access any folder and report

Previously there were settings that didn’t allow this (we thought)

We think there may be an issue with the BI Consumer Role

Example 2:

An employee with only Employee and Line Manager Role can access any folder and report within our Custom Folder line up-

They seem to inherit the BI Author role

We know there were visual changes to the Reports and Analytics platform, but didn’t know if there were any setting/ disable/enablement’s- has anyone else seen this or knows if there is a universal approach to remedy this.
