Hi,

Every year on January 1st, the grades rates change for my clients population. In order to allocate compensation, they expect to see the grade ranges for the following year and not the current year because the

Example:

Cycle start and end date = January 1st 2021 to January 31st 2021

Currently, the salary ranges are for 2021. However, because the salary ranges are changing for January 1st 2022, the client wants make their calculations based on the following year data, not for the year that has passed (2021).

Is this possible?

Additionally, the oracle white papers mention that the start and end date are for informational use only and used in fast formulas. However, after playing with the dates, it is those dates that drive the salary range data.
