Recently, there was a time and attendance cloud service provider who was hit by a ransomware attack. That service was down for almost two months, leaving their customers stranded without a way to immediately and accurately capture time for workers and pay them properly. This event highlighted just how critical time and attendance systems are in the ecosystem of paying hourly employees and the need to have a redundancy system in place.

Oracle Cloud Time and Labor delivered a Simple Time Card solution to assist our Payroll customers through this difficult time, enabling them to accurately capture their employee’s time worked, and send to Oracle Payroll. This also aided in the reconciliation effort after their primary time and attendance system was restored.
