Error: You aren’t the current approver for the requisition you’re trying to access.

Summary:

Hello gurus, I have a weird case for you, Hope someone has experienced this:

the assignee gets a notification to approve a PR created on SSP, but when clicking the approval link, the message appears

"Error: You aren’t the current approver for the requisition you’re trying to access".

Additional to this, information on the system is inconsistent:

1) Checking the document history in the PR, it still appears under R. Aravidan edition, not showing the last approvers:

2) Checking the approval tasks by clicking the PR status “Pending approval” those tasks are incomplete, missing some stages of the approval flow:
