How to get new list of POs to finally close from Close Schedules in Spreadsheet

Need some tips to generate new list of POs to finally close in the Closing Schedules in Spreadsheet feature. Would the Download button be helpful here?

Is the only way to generate new results to exit out of the spreadsheet, enter new criteria, and log back into the spreadsheet? Would love to generate new results without exiting and re-entering the spreadsheet.

Can someone also explain the use of the download button on the Close Schedules in Spreadsheet feature? Can it be used to download new results by changing the criteria in the top left (Requester, PO Creation Date, Budget Date, etc.), or does it simply refresh the same criteria entered?
