How to restrict some of the Item structure view in CPQ?

Summary:

Hello,

We are planning to use same Oracle Fusion Configurator in both CPQ and OM.

Customer has a requirement to view the BOM in different ways.

For Sales team, during the quoting, they should not view the complete item structure but only the high level view which carries the process.

But for the Field Engineer, who does the configuration for the fulfillment should see the complete details of the Item structure in OM or external portal.

Can we achieve this by using a single Item structure in PIM?

I am not sure what exactly "Show in Sales" does in CPQ. If we update it as No, will it invisible for the Sales team in CPQ?
