REST/SOAP/PLSQL API on why COA is invalid

We have a requirement wherein we need to validate the COA segment structure received as input and return valid/invalid status along with the reason why the COA is invalid.

 The current ERP cloud API/package to validate COA segments returns only a valid/invalid status. It does not return the reason why the segment structure is invalid (was it because of invalid segment value, RVS failure, CVR failure etc).
