Invoice not getting generated as rule start date updated to Ordered Date in AR interface table

We have shippable and non shippable lines on Order. We have done Service mappings to populate GL date as current date for non shippable line. Inspite of that invoice is not getting generated because in AR interface table, accounting rule start date is being taken from order header. How have you resolved this?
