Understanding Autoprovision of Roles Process

Summary:

We are autoprovisioning roles to employees, yet the logs show additional activity is occuring.

Content (required):

We are autoprovisioning an HR Employee role to all active employees (~28,000). When we look through the logs, we are seeing two things:

  1. The logs show "Active Memberships" in excess of 201,000 which is very close to our full worker population of active an inactive.
  2. The logs show roles that are NOT scheduled to be autoprovisioned being synced.

Our questions are:

  1. What is the very large number of Active Memberships? Is the job analyzing every single worker that exists and, if so, why is the active number off by so much (201,000 vs 40,000)

Howdy, Stranger!
