Using one time zone for web clock

edited May 9, 2022 10:28AM in Workforce Management 1 comment

Summary:

The web clock has two options which is device time and server time in which the device time takes the actual device time set in hours and the server time derives time using the server time. but server time considers the timezone of the device when calculating the punchin or punch out time. even though the server time is used if two different devices are on different timezone setups the system uses the timezones primarily which opens a backdoor for employees to just change their device timezone and manipulate the process.
