Salary ranges based on a combination of Job and Grade

Summary:

How can we model a framework where the salary range is based on a combination of Job AND Grade?

Content (required):

Hi Experts

We have a customer who has a salary range framework that uses a combination of Job and Grade to determine the applicable salary range.

For example:

In the UK, a Software Developer at Grade 1 has a salary range of £30,000 to £40,000.

However, a Marketing Manager at Grade 1 has a salary range of £35,000 to £45,000.

How can we cater for this in the system? I usually encounter the situation where the salary ranges are consistent for any given grade regardless of Job. And therefore I can create a Grade Rate to cover this. This scenario of catering for a combination of Job and grade to determine the salary range is not something I am familiar with.

Howdy, Stranger!
