How to upload & use Externally generated PGP Key for Employee Credit Card Transactions Import

edited May 5, 2022 7:06PM in Expenses 2 comments

Summary:

Our Customer is having a requirement to use an Externally Generated PGP Key to upload Employee Credit Card Transactions. We understand Oracle has a process to generate PGP internally within Cloud application and use the same. However in our case, Customer wanted to use they Key that was generated using a third party tool. We would like to understand if Oracle supports such option and if so how can we achieve this.

I found a note PGP Key For Decrypt Corporate Card Transaction (Doc ID 2651044.1), which says that "the current process is to create a PGP encryption certificate and provide it to the card issue. Importing the PGP encryption certificate is not supported." However this note is more than 2 years Old and we are trying to understand if this still holds good and if Oracle does not support this even today.

Howdy, Stranger!
