BIP report Excel output is formatting large numbers as General/scientific

in Reporting and Analytics for ERP 5 comments

Summary:

We created a BIP report for Fixed Assets. Any numerical values in the tens of millions or higher export to Excel as scientific. For example, an asset Cost of 42,482,278.51 shows as 4.248227851E7 in Excel. All the cells are formatted as "General", which is the root cause I guess.

Any way to have the report format certain columns as Number before exporting the results to Excel?
