Need to create an Eligibility Profile for Employees with last promotion date greater than 6 months

Content (required):

We are creating a Compensation Plan for Promotion, where the Eligible Employees should have not been Promoted within the last 6 months from the Promotion Effective date. Accordingly we need to create an Eligibility Profile for Employees with last promotion date greater than 6 months. I think this EP should be based on Fast Formula, however can not find the proper database item presenting this and how to link it with the Promotion Effective Start date.
