Manage Audit Policies enabled but output shows 'There are no records to display'

We have enabled 'Manage Audit Policies' for Payables >Invoices (attributes also added) last week.


However when we run the "Generate Audit Report" for payables the audit report output always shows "There are no records to display because there's no data to be audited within the specified parameters."

2) Since it was enabled last week will the report show output from past months OR will it only show data for days/months after we enable auditing?

We have enabled 'Manage Audit Policies' for Supplier Model too 6 months ago but it seems to be working well.
