PDF Returns as blank document when retrieving in VBCS through OCI Object Storage REST API

Summary:

We have a process to download a file from an OCI Object Storage bucket, which is breaking down when the Content-Type is pdf

Content (required):

We are leveraging OCI Object Storage to store documents (.pdf, .png, .txt) files. We have built a function to retrieve these documents via a REST API call in VBCS. This process works when dealing with .png & .txt files, however, when we retrieve a .pdf file the file opens as a blank white screen.
