How to run SQL Query and derive values from concatenated values on SCO Algorithm?

We are mapping from SO EFF to Procurement using SCO Service Mapping and SCO Algorithm on BTB Buy Orders.

There are values from source (SO EFF) which are not a direct match to the target attributes in Procurement and requires translation.

1) Is there a way to run SQL in the SCO Algorithm to pickup equivalent values which match the target based from the values found on the source ?

2) How can we pickup specific segment from a concatenated ship method values (from Source SO EFF) and take the the corresponding carrier, mode of service and service level values and send them to target attributes in procurement?
