How do I pull the most recent payroll element data from pay_element_entries_f table in Oracle HCM?

Summary:

I need to create a data model to pull certain payroll elements from the table called pay_element_entries_f, and I am running into issues with figuring out how to pull the most recent element information. I thought that I could pull the row of data with the highest object_version_number but have found that this does not necessarily give me the most recent record.

When I query the Loan 1 401K payroll element of an employee on the front-end using today's date of 05/18/2022 as the Effective Date, I see an Effective Start Date of 03/16/2022 (see below snip-it of the element entry screen).
