Need to delete a goal at the goal plan level

Summary:

Content (required): One of our HR admins accidentally added a goal to the goal plan and we have the Manage Goal Scheduled Process scheduled to run daily so the goal got assigned to all our our employees. We have set the goal to completed and changed the name of the goal to just show a period. We delete the goal from all the employees, but the Manage Goal Scheduled Process ran and it assigned the completed goal out to everyone again.

Is there a way to delete the goal that was entered on the goal plan?

Path to the goal: My Client Groups > Goals > Goal Plans > Open the appropriate goal plan > expand the Goals section
