Charge Periodicity - How does this function ?

Summary:

Charge periodicity or Subscription Product Duration is the number of Periods in a Billing Summary.

How does this work with integration?

Does this depend on the pricing configuration ?

Any one can share details about this functionality?


I have changed selected 1 year term and billing frequency i have selected as Quarter, but the charge periodicity still shows as Monthly ? wondering how this gets updated..
