How can I delete a Retroactive Notification to prevent it from processing?

Summary:

Need to delete retroactive notifications before processing

Content (required):

We are finding that sometimes a retroactive notification has already been corrected manually, or we do not want it to process in Payroll (current or future) for some other reason. It looks like there is an option to delete retroactive notifications in Payroll Event Notifications, but it is very difficult to interpret what the retro entry is in this area, and I also want to make sure deleting it does not cause other issues. Does anyone have experience in this area?
