Can you restrict the access to the Model task on the landing page of a compensation plan?

Summary:

I'm trying to understand if there is a way through roles/privileges to restrict who has the Model task visible on a workforce compensation plan.

Content (required):

We have enabled models for our comp plan for the first time. We only want our admin roles to have visibility & access to this through the plan via proxy (outside of the other methods - Global models). But we have some additional comp roles that need all the proxy as a manager functions as well. when those additional comp roles log in, they are seeing the Model task on the landing page of the workforce comp plan. Current config has the modeling setup so it's just available for administrators. I tried removing these privileges from our custom role but
