Is there a way to do Sanctions Screening in HCM?

We are currently looking at a new way to screen our employees and joiners through the sanctions list. My initial idea would be that we are able to screen employees from HCM . So feed HCM data on the employee into some type of screening module (and if possible feed information back into Fusion: screening performed + date). Positive hits from the screening would be returned and then investigated by us.

Has anyone done anything similar or found a way via HCM or another provider that could be integrated in HCM to do this?
