How to configure Oracle supply planning to consider only Sales order demand without forecast demand.

Summary:

Our client is implementing Oracle Supply chain planning. As per their requirement, they would like to use only sales order demand to check availability of material and resources. Forecast is just used for long term planning. But, finally, they don't want to manufacture any goods based on forecast. (MTO).

When I try to setup supply plan, demand plan schedule is mandatory. How do we configure this/
