Use autocomplete rules to complete salary based on age

Summary:

We are wanting to autocomplete the grade/step values based on the persons age, quite a few of our retail roles vary in salary due to the age of the applicants, I have read the documents in auto complete rules but cannot see a simple solution do achieve this? Has anyone had any similar requirements and have found out a way to do it?
