Goal

This document details steps on how to perform OCI CLI Offline Installations


Solution

Make sure you have Python 3 or higher version installed before you can perform an offline installation of the OCI CLI. See https://docs.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/Content/API/SDKDocs/climanualinst.htm

To perform an offline installation:

  1. Go to the OCI CLI release page on GitHub and select the version of the CLI that you want to install.
  2. Scroll down to the Assets section of the release page and click on the zip file to download it.
