GOAL:

Information suggests that the operating system may be exposed to a security vulnerability or

flaw identified by a CVE number.

This document suggests ways to verify for the vulnerability and apply any available fixes.

SOLUTION:

In an Oracle Linux system with standard repositories enabled, a full yum update, followed by a 

system restart, will install all available updates, bug fixes and security fixes available for the
